The hotel is a striking Georgian house, surrounded by a cluster of old Lakeland stone buildings. We have 12 bedrooms at The Samling with four different room classifications: Classic, Luxury, Junior Suites and Suites.

We can accommodate up to 24 guests to sleep at the hotel and an additional 36 for the ceremony and evening reception when the hotel is hired exclusively for a wedding with us.

Since our redevelopment, we have a restaurant with floor to ceiling views overlooking Lake Windermere and the surrounding Langdale Fells.

Please note on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, our normal exclusive rate of £16,500 per day would apply. All exclusive uses rates exclude the price of food and drink. Please note that we do operate a two-night minimum stay on Fridays and Saturdays and a three-night minimum stay over bank holidays.
