We provide Fine-Dining against an expansive lake view at The Samling Hotel – one of the most memorable dining experiences to be had in the Lake District.
In response to the dramatic landscape we sit in, Executive Head Chef Robby Jenks is developing and refining menus with a purity of flavour based on the core ingredients in each dish. Where possible these ingredients are from our greenhouse, gardens and woodland, locally sourced, or the best available in the UK.
Highly evolved, clear, bold flavours match the grand simplicity of lake and mountain views.
Robby has also introduced choice to The Samling menus, starting with our three course £25 Table D’Hote Lunch Menu, and the three course Choice Menu available at Lunch and Dinner; with a five course Tasting Menu in the evenings. Perfect for leisurely dining watching the sun set over the lake and Coniston mountains.
On Sunday’s we now serve a three course Roast Lunch, that most traditional of British institutions – with a choice of four dishes per course.
