Our restaurant offers food made from only the finest and freshest local ingredients.

Our restaurant guests find the ideas and lightness of touch emanating from the kitchen irresistible.  For many of our guests it is the main reason they continue to return to The Samling so often.

One other treat for our residents at The Samling is of course our delightful breakfast, which is a fantastic way to start your day.  Breakfast is however generally agreed to be preferable in the comfort of your room or in bed!

Our Menus and Prices:

Our three-course lunch including tea or coffee and petit fours is available daily priced at £35.00 per person.

Afternoon tea is priced at £19.50 per person and includes sandwiches, homemade scones served with clotted cream and preserve, a selection of cakes and desserts and shortbread.  Why not accompany afternoon tea with a chilled glass of Champagne?

Our mouth-watering dinner menu priced at £60.00 per person is served each evening and includes an appetizer, pre-dessert and homemade bread.    

Our Gourmand ‘tasting’ menu is also available every day during our evening dinner service, priced at £70.00 per person. Why not indulge yourself and have selected wines to complement this menu priced at £35.00 per person?

Food Service Times:

Breakfast - between 7.30am and 10.30am
Lunch - every day from 12 noon to 1.30pm
Afternoon Tea - every day between 3.00pm and 4.30pm
Dinner - every day from 7.00pm to 9.30pm

Coffee, tea and home-baked shortbread are available anytime of the day.

Reservations are strongly recommended for any dining experience to avoid any possible disappointment.
