Buttermere

Buttermere occupies a prime position at the front of the hotel, with a huge lake facing window framing the dramatic view over Windermere. Soothing tones of woodland green and a super-king size bed create a warm and welcoming atmosphere The marble clad bathroom offers a large walk in shower, and the bed can be divided into two singles to make a comfortable twin room. Buttermere can be booked individually or as an interconnecting 2 bedroom Suite with Blea Tarn.

Derwent Water

Located just a short distance from the main house, Derwent Water enjoys a soothing palette of soft pinks and creams and super-king bed which ensures a restful and tranquil atmosphere. The large and spacious bathroom is finished in Crema Marfil marble and benefits from a generous walk in shower and separate sunken bath, with a double vanity unit. This room is suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Frozen Fell

One of our most compelling rooms, Frozen Fell is located at the rear of the house overlooking the rolling gardens and private National Trust woodland. Decorated in warm stone hues with bursts of lichen yellow with silver accents and an emperor size bed, Frozen Fell is an indulgent choice for a relaxing stay.
