Luxury Doubles

Three large L-shaped bedrooms located on the first floor of the main house, each offering its own stunning view out over the front gardens and Lake Windermere and each being decorated in its own style. All three rooms have beautiful bathrooms with deep baths and sinks set into slate surrounds with separate walk-in showers.

Tyan
The memorable blue and white room is a firm favourite for many of our regular guests. Decorated in a contemporary Victorian style, the room has matching paper and soft furnishings, the lounge area being positioned around a fireplace. There are two large windows; one overlooking the front gardens and lake, the other looking towards the stream and woodlands.

Tethera
This bright and airy large bedroom takes pride of place at the front of the main house. Three south-facing picture windows offer spectacular views out across England’s largest lake. The sitting area is spacious with a burgundy sofa in front of the fireplace to collapse into and this is complemented with a limed oak writing desk and beige chairs.

Methera
The third of the L-shaped rooms feels larger than the others and is located on the western end of the building. The living area is towards the front of the house and incorporates a fireplace, a deep slate grey sofa with tartan cushions and matching footrest. The main window looks to the south, across Lake Windermere, while a second window is located in the bedroom area and faces west, offering views of the Langdales. Decorated with fine check-patterned wallpaper in grey-blue, this room has a very homely feel to it.
